I turned 34 this week. I got to spend time with the people I love most and enjoyed many birthday wishes. What more could a girl ask for? The biggest present of all is that I got to feel the baby moving for the first time that day. So very sweet. Can't believe I'm already 18 weeks.
My mom arrived that night to spend the weekend with us. She got to go to Bear's grandparent's day thing at school, but not his first soccer game because it was canceled. She made the comment that her turning older doesn't bother her in the least, but me turning 34 is hard for her. I completely understand as I'm much less fazed by my own aging than my kids growing up. I guess that never ends! We had a great relaxing visit.
I'm not discussing the football game beyond mentioning that we turned the ball over 6 times. I think that's enough said.
Going back to church in a few minutes because my next bible study on the "Journey" starts tonight. I've done Experiencing God and Journey Worship and tonight start a 12 week course called Spiritual Strength Training. Interested to find out more about it. Pretty sure no weights are involved!
Looking forward to getting back to the track this week! I've gotten very little track time in the past few weeks due to sinus infections, wildfires and back to school craziness. "Running" is getting more challenging but not ready to completely give it up just yet. Just mixing it with more walking to get it done.
Hayden came up to me yesterday and said, "SO, when will the baby be here?" I answered February and he said "And we don't know what it is? I really hope it's a boy, because girls talk too much." I'm just gonna be honest and say that 4 out of 4 people in our home are pulling for a boy. I know I'm not supposed to have a preference, but there ya go. Therefore, it's probably a girl. We'll find out soon enough.
